The world of law is always changing, and technology is moving incredibly fast. But one thing stays the same: Anggraeni & Partners’ strong commitment to teaching everyday people about the law, handling tough legal challenges, and sharing clear insights.
This June is a big milestone — 13 years of publishing ACTIO Magazine without ever missing an issue! We’re celebrating with the launch of Edition 29.
Consistency is the key to ACTIO’s success. From the very beginning, this magazine has become a trusted source that explains important legal changes in Indonesia and around the world. If you look at all the past editions, you can see how the magazine has grown along with the big changes happening in the legal field.
In the early days, ACTIO focused on basic but important legal topics — like the Constitutional Court Law in Edition 01, Suspension of Payments (PKPU) and Bankruptcy in Edition 05, and Arbitration in Edition 12. Over more than 10 years, the magazine has slowly widened its scope. It has moved into bigger global topics such as Planet, People, Profits: The Intersection of Law and ESG (Edition 22), Renewable Energy Transition (Edition 24), and Carbon Capture Storage in Indonesian Waters (Edition 28).
Through all these changes, Anggraeni & Partners has shown that giving clear explanations and examining how new policies affect people is not just a temporary thing — it’s at the heart of who we are.
Edition 29: Looking Ahead with “HUMAN–AI REALITY: ARE WE READY?”
Staying true to its style of tackling important future topics, the new edition has a powerful cover theme: “Human-AI Reality: Are We Ready?”. This issue asks a direct question — are we prepared for artificial intelligence (AI) becoming a big part of the legal world and our daily lives?
In 2026, this is no longer just a “what if” question. It has become a real legal, rule-making, and practical challenge. Indonesia is preparing a new Presidential Regulation on the National AI Roadmap. This will move from general ethical guidelines to actual binding rules that everyone must follow. As AI gets smarter — able to create things, make deals, and make decisions — our laws need to catch up to guide it safely.
ACTIO Edition 29 looks at this change using the firm’s Triple Helix approach: Law & Rules, Risk Management & Governance, and People & Culture. It shows how law can be used not just to fix problems after they happen, but to prevent them — turning rules into everyday good habits and planning into clear vision.
While many people are still learning the basic effects of AI, ACTIO Edition 29 goes much deeper with three main articles:
ACTIO— It’s a Story of Growth
For Anggraeni & Partners, keeping ACTIO alive for 29 editions over 13 years shows our willingness to keep learning and improving. It proves we are a law firm that doesn’t just handle daily client work, but also helps shape important conversations about law in Indonesia and globally. We are ready to grow together with the industries we serve — from traditional court cases to the exciting new world of AI.
As humans and AI start working together more closely, the real question is no longer “Will this affect us?” but “Are we ready?” Being ready means making sure our laws, systems, and people work together to protect safety, fairness, and human values while still gaining the benefits of new technology.
You can find the full detailed explanation only in ACTIO Edition 29 (June 2026).
Let’s get ready for the future of law — starting today!
