Dr. Hary Elias Leads as Chief Judge in 2024 Jessup Moot Court Indonesia

We are pleased to highlight a key moment from the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court National Competition, which took place this year at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.

This event gathered notable legal talents from across Indonesia, with 22 universities competing for prominence. The Indonesian Rounds concluded on February 3rd, 2024, showcasing significant legal skills and advocacy.

Central to this event was Dr. Hary Elias, General Counsel of Anggraeni and Partners. His extensive academic and professional background – BA Hons (Cantab), LL.M (1st Class Hons), MBA (Columbia), Juris Doctor – served him well as the Chief Judge of the Grand Finals. His contribution was crucial in steering the competition’s direction, ensuring fairness and excellence. With the support of judges from our Mahkamah Agung, Dr. Elias played a pivotal role in elevating the competition, adding depth to the deliberation process

The competition was intense, and in the end, the Faculty of Law from Universitas Gadjah Mada triumphed. Teams from Universitas Pahrayangan and Universitas Prasetiya Mulya also showed remarkable skill and perseverance, finishing closely behind. All three winners earned the right to represent Indonesia in the International Rounds in Washington D.C
